Barbara was brought up in the society life of Boston, Massachusetts. She went to college for nursing then met the farmer/soldier Ted and fell in love, they married 1/18/1946 and had 6 children. She worked hard all her life keeping up the family, babysitting and making chocolates and lollypops to sell for a little extra. She was well loved by all. She had a stroke and recovered fully, then had another which killed her. A fund set up in the Faith Baptist Church in Zephyrhills, Florida in her name is providing children with extra’s they would not otherwise had, just as Barbara always did.
