Hot air ballooning with Roger Bansemer

Remove balloon from bag.

It is a LOT of cloth!

Set out the basket.

Attach the basket to the balloon.

Begin yo inflate the balloon with a fan.

Use propane to heat the air in the balloon.

Load passengers (me and Amy)

Off we go!

Sometimes Roger will allow the balloon to float down and drag in the water for a bit!

This photograph of mine (above) made it into Roger Bansemer’s book The Art of Hot Air Ballooning.

Then we reverse the process and put the balloon back into the bag.

And back to Roger’s home, he had the caboose in his front yard!
