Remembering Winter the Dolphin
With heavy hearts, Clearwater Marine Aquarium announced that Winter the Dolphin passed away on November 11, 2021, due to an intestinal abnormality.
The Clearwater Aquarium is home to Winter, the dolphin who caught her tail in a crab trap, and subsequently the tail fell off. Winter is the star in the movie Dolphin Tale staring Ashley Judd, Morgan Freeman, and Harry Connick, Jr.
