Just a quick note to give everyone an update on Justin, Jody, Brianna
and Alyssa.

Just got his orders to leave the first week in December to Al Udeid. He
is doing a four month stint at this location. Jody and the girls are
staying behind at their home in Italy. Everything is going very well he
says! Alyssa keeps pulling herself up and crawling around…almost 7
months old now and getting ready to walk. Whew, they grow too quickly!!!

Enclosed are pictures of the base Justin will be assigned at. Now if I
can get him to send pictures of the kids etc

OK, OK, time I updated this! For the last month I have been so busy I have not had time to turn around, much less spend an hour updating the web page.

On October 19 I was promoted to Vice President at my job at Ash Engineering. I was asked to take over the survey division as well as the civil engineering division. As such I have taken on quite a chore. I have my survey crews coming in at 6:30 in the morning, I need to be there to get them prepped for their day. By 8 AM the rest of my guys are in and I need to get them going. Then I have to do three jobs, division head paperwork (reports of all kinds), head of survey – get jobs; prepare proposals; research; take calls; do the survey analysis; etc. and then my original job, do the civil engineering. My survey crews come in at 3 PM, need to be debriefed, then from 4 to 5 I get the stuff they need for the next day prepared and from 5 to 6 get with my civil team to get them closed out for the day. I have been working 12 hour days five days a week trying to do it all. I asked Jan for a raise but she said I need to delegate more! I have three draftsmen and one junior engineer, to whom am I to to delegate the work to?
