Here’s what’s cookin’ in Susan’s oven!
Fudge (chocolate or peanut butter)
Chocolate:
Cook until soft ball stage (234 degrees):
(NOTE: “soft ball stage” is when you drop a small amount into a cup of cold water and you can make a small ball of it, it is done)
2 cups – sugar | |
3/4 cup – milk or thin cream | |
2 tablespoons – light corn syrup | |
2 ounces – unsweetened chocolate (or 4 tablespoons cocoa) |
Remove from heat and add without stirring 2 tablespoons butter.
Let stand until cool.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat.
Peanut Butter

Add 1/4 cup peanut butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat.
