We did little last weekend (slept and went to the beach). Yesterday we went shopping and I got a wireless setup. Unfortunately, every time the computer is left for a minute, it goes to sleep and then looses it’s connection. I had to restart a download four times because it lot the connection. Oh well, back to wire.

We have a little storm in our backyard today. The power has flickered off a few times, but we are still doing well!

At 11 AM it was a Category 1 hurricane and 46 miles away, going by us.

Here is a short video of our back yard:

I have been unable to contact dad, he is right in the path, but now it has passed him. We are getting some heavy rain (leaks in the kitchen and bath around the windows from the wind blowing rain at 80 miles an hour at the wall).

We did not do anything to remember 9-11 yesterday, but I did get the book, “The 9-11 Report” and plan to read it. I have been reading a lot lately.

Today we went out for a kayak ride. We put the kayak in out back, went over to see Jim at his boat, then went out to the island.

First, we saw this Buckeye as we were putting in the kayak:

Jim took this picture of us:

How time flies! We missed any affects of Charlie, then Frances, now Ivan is headed this way!

We are engaged! I asked Pam to marry me while were in Aruba last weekend. She said yes!!!

I surprised her with a ring and a dinner out on the beach:

We had a wonderful time!

I found the above Art Gallery and have listed some of my pictures for sale there!! Anyone can display their art there!
