Cannery Pie (Apple Pie)

Mix the following well:
![]() | 1 1/2 cup – sugar |
![]() | 1 cup – flour |
![]() | 2 teaspoons – baking powder |
![]() | 1/2 teaspoon – salt |
![]() | 2 eggs |
![]() | 1/2 teaspoon almond extract |
![]() | 1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
Add:
![]() | 2 cups – diced apples |
![]() | 3/4 cup – chopped walnuts |
Place in deep dish pie plate (buttered well).
Bake at 375 degrees about 45 minutes. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
