Roger Bansemer and his friend Lowell Lytle gave a wonderful performance last night at the Marly Group.

I did not know that Lowell had gone down in the sub the trip before Roger! He was the one that had negotiated the trip for both of them. Lowell is an actor and plays the part of the captain of the Titanic. It was a great night!!

Darrell sent this along:From the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Pictures taken by district fire management officer Terri Jenkins on March 4, 2004. Jenkins says she was about 40 miles south of Savannah, Georgia, on her way to start a prescribed fire at Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge, when she spotted the gator making off with its lunch from her helicopter.

We have been so busy!

Pam’s co-workers got together and made believe it was her birthday:

And made her a sponge cake made of real sponge! It was beautiful though.

Next they had a bridal shower for her, here are two pictures they took of her ( I wish I could take such beautiful pictures!):

Then we had her wedding ring made to match the engagement ring:

Here is a picture of Pam and the artisan who is making the ring:

Work is going well, I am also very busy with both FES and Marly: tomorrow night Roger Bansemer is coming as the featured guest!

Also Amy and Sarah arrive tomorrow!!

I also hear through the grape vine that Tracy is going to have a baby! Sue must be very proud.

Dad has had a lot of tests done, and Monday he will get the results. We wish him the best!

Thanks Al for offering to come down to our wedding, that meant a lot to me!!

A Son’s Love

An old man lived alone in the country. He  wanted to dig his potato garden but it was very hard work, the  ground was hard. His only son Fred, who used to help him, was in prison.  The old man wrote a letter to  his son and described his predicament.

Dear  Fred, I am feeling pretty bad  because it looks like I won’t be able to plant my potato garden this year.  I’m just getting  too old to be digging up that garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would  dig the plot for me. – Love Dad

A few days later he received a letter from his son.

Dear Dad, For heaven’s sake, don’t dig up that garden!  That’s where I buried the BODIES. – Love  Fred

At 4 am the  next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived and  dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left. That same day the old man  received another letter from his son.

Dear Dad, Your garden is ready now.  That’s the best  I could do under the circumstances. – Love  Fred
