Apple Crisp
4 cups – cooking apples (cored and pared) | |
1 tablespoon – lemon juice | |
1/3 cup – all-purpose flour (sifted) | |
1 cup – oatmeal, uncooked | |
1/2 cup – brown sugar (packed) | |
1/2 teaspoon – salt | |
1 teaspoon – powdered cinnamon | |
1/3 cup – melted butter |
Pour apples into greased shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Combine dry ingredients. Add melted butter. Mix until it as a texture of coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples.
Bake at 375º for 1/2 hour, or until apples are done.
