Cannery Pie (Apple Pie)
Mix the following well:
1 1/2 cup – sugar | |
1 cup – flour | |
2 teaspoons – baking powder | |
1/2 teaspoon – salt | |
2 eggs | |
1/2 teaspoon almond extract | |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
Add:
2 cups – diced apples | |
3/4 cup – chopped walnuts |
Place in deep dish pie plate (buttered well).
Bake at 375 degrees about 45 minutes. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
