I have a new spare tire for my kayak. I found it floating this morning (8-6-2020) and retrieved it.
Miscellaneous
Sunrise when I get out to shoot.
My little 10 foot kayak (I have three). Allen took the photo for me. My very old Nikon D300 camera with a 150-300 lens. I have a new lens on order. I discovered that I have taken 151,000 photos with it already, it has a posted life of 150,000. The bucket I use for trash in front of me, the green spot is the handle of the trash picker I use. I purchased the kayak for $17. It apparently had been underwater for a long time, it was covered with barnacles and oysters. Someone was trying to haul it out (full of water) and I asked him what he was going to do with it. He said sell it online. I asked how much he was going to ask, he said $100. It was really in terrible shape so I offered him $20. He said OK. I went to my wallet and found that I had only $17. He took it. I finished hauling it up and took a good while to clean it, but got all the growth off of it. Now I take it out every morning!
Trash I picked up two weeks ago. I find only a random small piece of plastic now. I guess I have cleaned up most of it.

24. Out kayaking this morning (7-31-2020) I saw what I thought was an overturned kayak floating. I was wondering how I would pull such a large kayak to shore. As I got closer I found that it was a sleeping manatee. I got a shot off of his tail, and one of his nose as he flipped the tail and dove, he had a LOT of barnacles on his tail!
