Wow, what a Thanksgiving!!

The above picture is of most of us; Denise Gregoire Herrick, Denise Gregoire, Bernard Gregoire, Anne Marie Brady, Ted Herrick, Thad Brady, Theresa Gregoire Loiselle, Charles Loiselle, Martine Gregoire (the kids at their table and me taking the pictures are not in it) but it shows the fine time had by all! If you had not noticed by the names, much of the conversation was in French! We had two 24 pound turkeys, one 10-pound ham (58 pounds of meat in all!) and all the fixings! The potatoes and the cranberry sauce were big hits, as well as the onions (thanks to my sister Sue who gave me the recipe over the phone!). Dad H. was the hit of the day, he told stories of his youth that kept all enthralled. Amy called from Ohio where she is visiting. Denise talked with Audra as well! Everyone took home more food than they came with!

Friday night (after Denise worked 12 hours) we raced down to Sarasota and had another big meal with five of the nine above at the Chart House. The Chart House is an exclusive restaurant and we had an excellent meal, thanks, Bernard.

Have you all checked out Stephen's Home Page (below), the ball is cute, but did not give me the answer I wanted!!!!

PS the wedding of Nathan and Christine is now scheduled for .........December 31, 1999, in Chicago at the Navy Base.

The countdown for the new year is getting shorter!!

The floor to Donald:

Hi Everybody,
This is the start of a busy week.  I hope everyone is ready for Turkey Day.
Things are fine on the west coast.  I've been gliding a lot, getting back into the saddle as it were, mostly from the 300 ft. level.
I had a great day with Tracey and Blaine.  We went to the Rodin exhibit at a Stanford University museum, walked around Stanford, and then had a good long hike up from my favorite redwood grove to a hiking cabin in a state park.  Blaine and Tracey liked the cabin so much they may use it as part of a hiking trip they want to do.  We made it over to the Pacific by nightfall, but it was very foggy.  All in all it was a very enjoyable day.  We hope to do it again, and maybe see the Winchester Mystery house among other local attractions next time.
Stephanie and Stephen are fine.  I'm looking forward to getting up to Seattle for all four days of the coming holiday.  I'm a proud pappa because Stephen made his first web site.  He told me he was bored on Sunday and got on-line and made it.  He likes the H-Ball, just ask it a question.  Here is the address:
http://www.homestead.com/_warhammer40k_/happyholidays.html  I
think it is neat that Stephen did it all on his own.  He wants to do more and I'll help him this weekend.
Happy holidays to you all and bye for now,
Don

We are grandparent's!!!!
Brett and Karen have given birth to a baby GIRL! Tonight at 9:30 New Orlean's time. We were so excited we did not get her name! Will fill it in later when we again talk to the proud poppa!

We have been working hard, last weekend we went up and visited Dad H. and went out for lunch. Got him set up again on the computer. Send him some e-mail!
Then on Sunday we had a nice visit with Mom and Dad L. We split a couple of games of cribbage and enjoyed the super weather!
On Tuesday I got hit with a letter from one of my disgruntled employees; he has been since reassigned. That has been taking up much of my time. I did get a great Foxpro application deployed today though!

Nate's fiance wrote:

"We're shooting for a wedding on Jan 1, 2000", she says. Guess Nate is doing all right "blending right in".

We have few plans this weekend, just got to catch up with the housework. I was down with my back strain last Sunday and Monday (my birthday!). Thanks to you all for your calls, birthday cards and gifts!

We are still busy at work, we received another half million documents Thursday. These are documents we need to catalog; now we are up to 2 million at least! We only have completed about 700,000 in the past year, so we are going to be busy for a while longer!
