My job is still going well, I met with a client Friday afternoon and he said that he had worked with a number of engineers over his 25 year career and we were the best!!

I have negligent in keeping this web page up, but here is my best shot!

Yesterday after my meeting with the client I went straight home. I sat down and said to myself, I have absolutely nothing to do this weekend, I will enjoy watching a few movies and catching up on sleep. So, I started watching the "Mask of Zorro". I had never seen the movie.

The phone rang, Clarita, she wanted to talk and ask if I would like to watch a movie Saturday night.

Ten minutes later, as I was getting into the movie again, phone rings. Roger Bansemer. Would I like to go to Anclote Key tomorrow to see the progress they are making on restoring the lighthouse!!! I say yes, and get into the movie again.

Ten minutes later, phone rings, Dad! I had never told dad that my life as a bass player was over as my tendonitis had flared up (again) and my doctor made me promise not to play. Dad had called to say that he, Betty, Pastor Clyde, and his wife had all come to Largo to surprise me and watch me play!!! In addition, my friend of 30 years Ben was there in Largo for the first time to see me play!!! So, as I had not seen dad for Father's Day, I invited the four of them down. They came and invited me up to Zephyrhills Sunday.

Next I got a call reminding me the FES newsletter was due, would I include a note about the new secretary.

OK, now I had seen 25 minutes of my movie and my weekend was totally filled up!

In addition, Jim came over this afternoon when I got back from Anclote to play chess. My lazy weekend has been very busy so far!!

Slide Show of my Anclote Island trip include the boat trip out (Roger, another artist, Charlie Morgan (the Morgan yacht maker) and his lady friend); the lighthouse (undergoing renovation); pictures from the top of the lighthouse; and us leaving (note - below - the Osprey nest to the left of the lighthouse, there were two adults and two chicks in the nest!!):

I have been very very busy!! My job is going very well,  I also have been coming home after 12 hours of work and watching a movie to wind down; then weekends I have been sailing! There no time during the day to update this web page as I used to do. Clarita (the lady I met a month ago) has been off to Miami the past two weeks. She is coming home tonight and I have invited her over for dinner.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

I went to dad's last weekend and we celebrated Betty's birthday, Mother's Day, and Fathers Day all at once! Here is a slide show of the pictures of a titmouse, a chickadee and a red tailed hawk I took there: Dad's

Below is a link to a program that will search your computer for spyware, mine was infected with a spy Alexa - I was able to run "regedit" and erase the offending key in my registry. Try it, it may be worth it:

Hi John,
Time to start the June page.  You might want to use this joke, it hit me
kind of funny...

Two friends meet in the street. The one man looked rather forlorn and down
in the mouth. The other man asked, "Hey, how come you look like the whole
world caved in?"  The sad fellow said, "Let me tell you. Three days ago,
an uncle died and left me ten thousand dollars."

"I'm sorry to hear about the death, but a bit of good luck for you, eh?"
"Hold on, I'm just getting started. Two days ago, a cousin I never knew
kicked the bucket and left me twenty thousand, free and clear."

"Well, you can't be disappointed with that!"
"Yep. But, yesterday my grandfather passed away. I inherited almost one
hundred thousand dollars."
"Incredible...so how come you look so glum?"
"well, so far today - nothing!"
