We are getting a lot out of the weight set! I just put in a few reps.
The Devil Rays baseball team played for the first time tonight, they lost but it was interesting watching our own team! My boss Dave went to the game. If anyone wants tickets I can get some. I want to see the Red Sox play in June. Denise and I are taking the week off next week, my request was approved today, Denise plans to turn hers in when her boss returns Thursday. Saturday we are taking a group sailing, then we will be leaving ourselves for a week's voyage. Sue, you do not know how close you came to having company!

Had a nice visit with Mom and Dad L. Went to see the Titanic exhibit with them but there was a two hour wait. So we came home and played cribbage. Spent Sunday sleeping trying to get over this cold. Today we put the finishing touches on our presentation we take on the road tomorrow. Will be in Atlanta for four days!

Beautiful weather is back. Mom and Dad L. are coming over any minute, we have the place all spick and span. Denise was to have taken yesterday off but her boss then changed her mind and asked Denise to stay because she needed Denise at her staff meeting. Then the boss herself did not show! But Denise and I worked anyway.
Denise is getting good use out of her weights.
The weekend is here!! Finally.

March 19, 1998

We have been working out regularly on the weight bench! Denise's little girl with the new heart had a hard time yesterday but was doing better last night, today we both are going in early to get things done so we can take time off tomorrow. We have been promising urselves time to go out on the boat.

March 17, 1998

I spent a part of yesterday up in a helicopter taking pictures of all our projects, what a blast!
Denise wrote her "resume" for her father's book tonight, I worked out and played with FoxPro for a while, I learned a lot!

March 15, 1998

The weather has been excellent!! I have added Denise's son Brett's new e-mail address to the Family Data page. Drop him a line!
Everyone has seen David's pictures I guess, Mom H. did not understand how to view them but I explained, and she is going to try now.
Denise used her weights yesterday, then we went and got a larger desk from the office to put both computers on (left the camera at work or I would include a picture of the new layout).

Denise is off getting a new heart for a patient today. She left at noon, said she would be home at 5PM but I do not expect her till midnight! The heart that came available was in Virginia and they had to fly up and harvest it. I cooked a loaf of bread and have been working on loading programs for Denise on her computer. I have improved my metric calculator. I also tried to get it to print it out but no luck yet!

Now it is the 14th already(day 6 has gone) and Denise and I have used the weights twice each! We have been so busy! On Thursday the client for the biggest project I have done yet (contesting the one billion dollar claim from Milliken) came. I spent 50 hours this week at the project and they were very very impressed. Now we have to take the show on the road, the next presentations will be in Atlanta on the 25th and the 27th. Denise has been given a raise! She is doing very well. One of the doctors gave her a hard time the other day (Denise had to use his favorite room for an emergency so he had to use another equal room, tsk tsk) but her boss stood up for her and everything is fine.

David has a page for his pictures! http://xach.dorknet.com/wedding/

The maple trees have given their best and Al has capitalized on it, now maple syrup is "in the can" for another year Al says!. We had summer over the weekend but winter is back again, 40's tonight they say! I spent the day yesterday in Punta Gorda helping Mom H's twin with her computer. Then last night two other engineers and I scored the applications for engineering scholarships. The president of the local chapter had volunteered to help, he went home shaking his head, he did not know how difficult it was to judge. We picked two boys this year, interesting because the past few years it has been the girls who have excelled and made the cut.
Day one (8th)of the weights: 20 minute workout for Denise
Day two (9th): 30 minute workout for Denise and 15 for me!

March 8, 1998

Last week was a week from"he double toothpicks"! Both for me and Denise. I put in 57 hours of billable time and so did Denise, or more ( I only went in to work earlier the she did one time!). Yesterday we went out and bought Denise a set of weights. I will keep you abrest as to how much use they get (she did have fun with them today though). Today I put the set together and put up a page to show you how they look Day 1.

Thanks, Don for the input.
Denise went to the dentist yesterday afternoon and came back with a glowing report, then she cooked dinner!

March 4, 1998

Denise and I both have been busy at work, I put in 17 hours on Monday (Denise got me up after 3 hours sleep Sunday night to help her, and I ended up working on a metric conversion calculator for the office...anyone interested in a copy - e-mail me!).... then yesterday spent 14 hours getting ready for a client to come in this morning.
I have been having fun helping minority businesses with their computer solutions. A call came in yesterday from a lady who was using Microsoft Project. I had installed the program on my computer last year but never had a reason to use it. When she called I opened it up for the first time, learned how to use it by pulling down help screens, then showed her how it worked! She was quite happy that now she could use the program and could send in a revised schedule that would not be turned down again.
It has turned cold! Only 53º out right now!

Time flys! I have put together a page for David, check it out!

Denise is due back this aftenoon! Must get busy and clean the place up! Had a great meal over at Miguel's last night, my boss and his girlfriend were there, as well as Ed, the new guy.
